An Evolving Life. Footwork.

Footwork

On the heels of last week’s post, Searching, I continue to think about connection. How much extra effort is now required to reach out to others. And how anxiety-provoking it has become to slow down long enough to interact with another human being.

Often after I make a statement in one medium, it reappears in another before too long. Here’s Footwork, a watercolor completed last week.

Stepping through our current landscape has become an act of courage. Like tightrope walkers, we encounter waves of anxiety. Are they emanating from us or traveling toward us? Is it man/woman-made or produced by the atmosphere?

The climate is changing. Mores are shifting. We step lightly. Wondering what comes next?
