An Evolving Life. May Flowers
May Flowers
Hummingbird says: out here on the North Fork, people take their gardening pretty seriously, much to the delight of all. Between the plantings and fields of vegetables, vineyards and fruit trees in all their glory, it’s beautiful. We entered the first weekend of June with a bit of a heatwave. Not a bad time to enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of our gardens. Sitting in a shady spot, perhaps a vase of fresh picked flowers on the table, sipping our favorite beverage, with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves. Alright, you get the picture.
Carrying the theme forward, here is Meryl Spiegel’s May Flowers, painted in watercolor.
P.S. Is this a metaphor?
