September Skies and the Moon
The skies are definitely to watch throughout September as the air is clean and crisp.
We were already wowed by the incredibly large, bright, full "Harvest Moon" in the beginning of the month, and approaching its last quarter this weekend, we will then have a New Moon on September 25. Jupiter will be visible in the night sky the next day.
Coincidentally in the Gallery, we have the beautiful Moonscape by artist Marjorie Tomchuk on exhibit in Two Dimensions. This stunning piece is an embossed collagraph print on artist-made paper which the artist then hand-colors. This is one of many embossed prints that we are representing by the artist that will be on view through October 2.
