What Robert Plant is Doing These Days
Spoiler alert—it’s so good.
I know what you’re thinking… Robert Plant… Led Zeplin… hard rock and heavy metal. “Stairway to Heaven.”
Me too, that’s what went through my mind when my husband said, “You have to hear Robert Plant’s new album—Raise the Roof, with Alison Krauss. You’re going to love it.”
Before we get right to it, here’s the take-away. Yes, I do love it. But more than that, I love that the old ones still got it! Why? Because when you get into your zone of excellence, which we all have if we are lucky enough and allow ourselves to go there, this is the kind of creativity and joy that lies ahead.
In the spirit of Hummingbird, it is likely that this is what “successful aging” looks like. HA! Cheers to that. Onward.
You must listen to this. It’s one of my favorites from the album, which is a fabulous compilation of 12 songs. Alison Krauss is heavenly.
