No, not that kind of tweet yet (not the Twitter kind)!  Just a tweet as in a brief communication from Hummingbird!

We wanted to share a few tidbits from the blog analytics, with a big THANK YOU Hummingbird Readers!  We keep having “record” evenings when we least expect it.  Sometimes, something—we like to think that most often it is the content, pure and simple, but it might be just how it is posted or shared on Facebook-- simply resonates with our readers, and our blog traffic and readership really ramps up.  We are trying our darnedest to get it just as you like it, of course keeping in mind that everyone also likes a surprise--so not too heavy on the prescribed and predictable. 

Something else great we’ve been seeing lately is individuals (individual IPs) coming into the blog and exploring several pages, or for example all of the work by one particular author, spending a fair amount of time with us.  Readers are using the site search function to find posts or authors that they are looking for, and also collections, such as book reviews.  And, the book reviews and recipes—people really love them! 

Another exciting “best new thing” is that readers are starting to comment on the blog posts!  Did you know that you don’t have to sign in to comment, you can comment as a guest?  We know some people prefer not to give any information, and we totally get that—so voila—you are welcome to comment as our guest.  Also, you can “like” the post you’ve read just below the content, or share it to your Facebook page, just by clicking on the icon.  The “like” button is a great way to let writers know you are enjoying their work, if you choose.
