Father’s Day
I couldn't help myself. It was Father's Day on Sunday and I was in charge of bringing dessert and potato salad. When I ran out of time to bake a homemade dessert, the next best thing was to go to Mademoiselle Patisserie of Patchogue and order something. But my intention was two-fold. The dessert had to have lemon curd which my Father loves and it also had to be inspiring to sketch! I think I accomplished both things. Arriving with a dozen, there were plenty of leftovers to disperse, while I also kept a couple of "short lived" models to sketch from!
And they were delicious!
