Rating: Strongly Recommend

Here is a psychological, mind-twisting novel about the adult life of six English children who were physically and emotionally abused by demented parents. This riveting book gives you a look at their later lives, at the long term effects of a nightmare that each of them takes into adulthood, as they attempt to find lives for themselves. It’s about the secrets our siblings keep, from themselves and each other, a story about alliances and betrayals, of sibling relationships that leave you thinking, and rethinking. Beautifully written - an impossible- to-put-down book with an ending that stunned me. Strongly recommended!
