From My Italy Archives. Italian Arch and Corner

Recently, I was working on a project with my brother who lives in Italy that required a search in my archives for photographs from there. Had a great time reminiscing about my visits to that beautiful country, so I'll spend some days here sharing that. Working on printing a series and will let you know when they become available.
One thing I recall is that around most corners in Italy, there was an interesting scene with dynamic shadows, lines, design, and focal points. Have you been there? What was your favorite part?
Editor’s Note: As soon as I saw this image, it transported me to Italy! I had to know more. Alex Ferrone had posted it on Instagram, and of course I reached out to her to share it on Hummingbird. She so gracefully, both in the exquisite photograph and her warm post comment, captures the feeling I recall. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
