Struck by lightening at a young age, Mensa Mominu had a surge of brilliance accompanied by a permanent loss of empathy. He is noted to be a devotee of Leonard Cohen and provolone cheese. Mensa makes his home under the docks at the River Café.

Alabama Slammer
Mensa Moment…. on the weather, sharpies, and such.
Mensa, armed with the BEST information on hand set sail, believing that he would perform a rescue of biblical proportions. Of course this was not the case. Disappointed Mensa hit the first bar he could find, and he wanted to share his new found libation of choice with you.
Alabama Slammer (pun intended): 1 oz Sloe Gin, 1 oz Southern Comfort, 1 oz Amaretto, 2 oz orange juice.
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake to mix and pour into an ice-filled highball glass. Mensa likes to garnish with a slice of orange, blood orange if available, and a maraschino cherry—his favorite. He uses two cherries.
