It Was A Moment

He was saying goodbye at a family gathering. I’m not sure how he noticed that I was wearing a ring he had given me a very long time ago, when we were young, and the children were young, and we thought we would be together forever. He leaned down and kissed me. And then he moved on. As I said, it was a moment.
