Just Folks. February.
Even though it's the shortest of the year, February is a surprisingly "loaded month." Things kick off with Groundhog Day, the indicator of Spring's inevitable arrival, whether on time or delayed. We just have to wait and see....*
The Super bowl, the Presidents' Day(s) celebrations, Valentine's Day! National Freedom Day, Fat Tuesday, the Chinese New Year--Year of the Dog, and one of our favorites, Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17.
And of course, Black History Month and American Heart Month are celebrated with events throughout February. Tina's colorful and whimsical "calendar" sets the stage for a jammed packed February, and is, perhaps, the harbinger of Spring.
*Editor's Note: Yes, it's true. Today, Punxsutawney Phil scurried out and saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter. Great!
