Black Friday Special. The Club Sandwich.
Two of the best things about Thanksgiving are the day after, and the day after that...ah the leftovers! The Tupperware containers come out and cold turkey gets sliced as the smell of cooked bacon wafts through the house. Often, together with family or friends, we build our own versions of this classic, decadent sandwich.
To me, indulging in this annual ritual scores high over flocking for bargains during the hype of "Black Friday." Hoping you had a great Thanksgiving with plenty of leftovers!!
Art Note: A few years ago, I was trying a new technique with collage that I used for this sketch. It was challenging to paint the pieces, cut them out and arrange them on a ground. This is one of the techniques I continue to explore in greater complexity.
